Isle of Wight Wedding Photographer // Back in June I spent a few days on the Isle of Wight photographing Sofia & Tony’s awesome wedding. When they first told me about their wedding day plans, I got very excited indeed. Set to take place at The Sugar Store, a huge boathouse in East Cowes, they were planning a big ol’ knees up with an emphasis on family and friends. Right up my rue.

Pier Ceremony

Sofia got ready in a beautiful house just 5 minutes walk from the venue. She spent the morning getting ready with her mum and sister and once zipped into her stunning white and gold sequinned dress (wow!), she strolled through East Cowes to their wedding ceremony on East Cowes’ pier. The pier looked amazing and made a stunning backdrop, made even more authentic by huge Red Funnel ferries passing by.

Boathouse Reception

After the ceremony the happy pair were showered with an almighty confetti storm – you’ll get what I mean when you see the images. I took them for a wander around the marina and photographed the two of them hanging out – it was ruddy lovely. All the speeches took place outside on the pier, made all the better when the sun played ball and came out to play. The party was ace with a glitter bar, confetti cannons and a very brilliant DJ who keep the dancefloor packed. What a day!
