For one reason and another it’s been a pretty busy start to the year for me. Despite feeling well nestled into 2018, I wanted to take the opportunity to look back at 2017 and pick out some of my favourite wedding photographs. It’s also the first blog post on my new website [insert party popper emoji].
Sooooo, 2017 was very ace indeed. I travelled up and down the country hanging out with amazing people who trusted me to document their wedding day – a responsibility I don’t take lightly. I’d like to give a huge shout out and thank you to all my 2017 couples for welcoming me and my camera into their lives for the day.
2017 was also my busiest year to date, taking in commercial work in Norway and the brilliant Wolves Workshop in the Canary Islands. I’ve spent a lot of time shooting away or in front of my computer screen editing. If it wasn’t for my incredible wife (or Director of Finance as she likes to call herself) helping me, or the totally brilliant group of photographer friends and peers I have around me, on hand to answer my stupid questions and keep me sane, it would have been much more difficult – so a massive bear hug thank you to you all.
From a manor house on the Cornish coast to an urban street food bar in Birmingham, it’s been pretty darn varied! Here’s a selection of my favourite images from 2017:
